I’ve had a break from photography for a little bit for personal reasons, however I am now back in the saddle and available for shoots, especially location ones that make use of the gorgeous weather at the moment.
I’m especially interested in making use of the bluebells in Tocil Woods that will be appearing after Easter if any models are interested.
Today I had the enjoyment of working with Katie, a model from Purestorm, on a short but fun winter shoot. Sadly most of the snow and fog I had been looking forward to working with had faded away to almost nothing, leaving just the freezing cold, but we still got the shots that Katie (who put up with the cold like a true professional!) wanted for her portfolio and several have found their way into my portraits page already.
I really enjoy working with models, especially when they’re as talented as Katie, and have another shoot lined up shortly which is much more themed than this one was, and I’m looking foward to shooting that in the near future, but for now, enjoy Katie’s shots.
Today I have been out in the freezing cold to do some work for City Ads UK. The cold, however, provided a beautiful colour to the sky which showed the lit signs off wonderfully and I hope City Ads UK are equally pleased with the images.
I’m always willing to go the extra mile for my clients – even if I have to wear gloves and a thick warm coat!
Not the most exciting news, but Light Photographic is now redesigned. It may not look (that) different from before, but with a better back end, and more Google friendly links, I’m quite excited by the changes.
In other news, I’ve also just done a photoshoot for my parents in law, as a present for them as my sister in law has jetted off round the world for two years. I’ll hopefully be able to add a couple of the shots to my portrait gallery soon. It was great fun and really showed how an ordinary lounge can be transformed into your very own home photo studio.
I’m currently in the process of converting Light Photographic to WordPress which should help me control the site better, allow me to set up private galleries for people and potentially allow me to sell photos via my website.
If you find any problems with the site, please comment below and I’ll get onto fixing it.
